For 75 years, the Community House and Grounds have been the heart of the North Rosedale Park community. And as we look toward the next 75 years, we see a vibrant meeting place filled with friendly faces, lively programming, and educational opportunities.

Realizing this vision for the future requires an inspired effort. So we have launched The Legacy Project, a community-led initiative to reinvigorate our treasured space.

But that plan needs your help to succeed.

Over the last several years, we have addressed the escalating costs of maintaining the Community House and the need to renovate the facility, and the contributions of many North Rosedale Park residents and friends have made that possible. Phase One is complete with a new 2300-square-foot addition, handicap-accessible restrooms, and electrical, lighting and acoustical upgrades. We are now moving to the second phase, with a goal of raising of raising $500,000.

During Phase Two, plans call for:

  • Replacing the roof and adding insulation and solar panels to reduce operating costs
  • Reconstructing the parking lot and driveway
  • Providing handicap access to the second floor
  • Creating an outdoor plaza adjacent to the new addition, using engraved pavers
