NRPCA Rockin’ for Kids Benefit Concert

The North Rosedale Civic Association, Playground Rescue Group, is a diverse group of volunteer parents. Our goal is to take away the barriers to exclusion, both physical and social. According to U.S. Census, one in five people have a disability, yet most playgrounds aren’t built to accommodate them.

Headlining this benefit fundraiser is the accomplished band, LORAX. Performing music ranging from Hendrix, to B.B. King. Detroiters pack the house at the famous Motor City Blues at Burt’s just to hear this young, talented band play. We are thrilled to have them on our very own stage at the North Rosedale Park Community House, 18445 Scarsdale St.

By purchasing a ticket today, it will enable us to raise enough funds for a wheelchair-accessible surface and play equipment for disabled, sensory-sensitive kids. A safe place where children of all abilities can play together.
