Saturday June 10th 2017
June Day is a full day of family friendly events that take place at the North Rosedale Park Community House and Grounds. Starting with a 1K and 5k race, a parade around the neighborhood, field games, horse and pony rides, pie eating contests, field games and much much more. The evening is a family movie night for kids of all ages. Bring a blanket and pillow and hangout with your friends watching a family movie inside the Community House.
Another June Day is approaching and we cannot pull it off without the help of the community. We need people to help with set-up on Friday night and Saturday Morning. There is a Run for the Roses Saturday Morning, the running of the midway games, movie night and concert and of course along with all this set-up and clean-up.
After many years of running the kitchen Mary Davis has stepped down so we are looking for someone to oversee the kitchen. If you are interested, please let us know. We also need volunteers to run the grill to help cook hamburgers, hot dogs and brats!
So please consider volunteering a few hours on this day to make it special for the children of the neighborhood.
